Tom Cockwell

David Gibson

David has over 20 years experience in working with public and private sector organizations. For the last 12 years, he has worked with business leaders and managers to develop their leadership capabilities and to evolve their organizations. This work involved executive coaching, leadership and team development, strategic planning, and career planning. He is a certified both as a professional coach and a facilitator for a broad range of leadership assessments. Also, David has extensive experience in management and leadership roles during his career at Nortel Networks. He led a variety of engineering teams and organizations to develop leading edge products and technologies. He holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Rebecca Leaver

Rebecca Leaver integrates a background in adult learning, depth psychology, and organization development. A human resource development specialist with over twenty years of experience in the design and delivery of learning interventions., Rebecca is a catalyst for personal and organizational change. She is an expert in interpersonal communications, management training, team building, and mentoring. Her ability to support participants in reaching deeply into the learning process has led to her considerable reputation as an experienced facilitator. Rebecca is dedicated to connecting people with the best in themselves.

Dr. Denise McLean

Dr. Denise McLean consults with a variety of Canadian organizations to ensure they have the human capabilities and the leadership bench strength to support their business strategies. Of particular relevance to this initiative, Denise led the Niagara Institute (a premier provider of leadership development closely affiliated with the Centre for Creative Leadership and the Conference Board of Canada) and continues her work with them as a Senior Associate, developing and delivering leadership programs across the country. In senior roles at Canadian National Railway, Denise directed change management and organizational effectiveness initiatives to ensure business goals were met, and led human resource management practices in recruitment and selection, career development, performance management, and rewards and recognition. She trained and supported senior managers and cross-functional work teams in learning and applying Creative Problem Solving techniques. With solid expertise in diversity and inclusion, Denise led the Conference Board of Canada’s Centre of Excellence for Women’s Advancement, and has developed solutions for several organizations seeking to engage a wider range of talent. Denise has run a successful consulting practice since 2005, holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with expertise in measurement and statistics, and is functionally bilingual. Her graduate level research focused on improving the effectiveness of university teaching.
